The Punjab Cricket Association Stadium

Sukhna Lake is an artificial reservoir
in Chandigarh. A 2 Km. long promenade along the lakeshore
is a popular place for strolling. In the morning & evening
time, fitness buffs of all age groups can be seen walking,
jogging, and performing yoga or vigorous exercises at the
lakefront. The lake, incidentally, has Asia's longest
water channel for rowing and yachting. |

Pinjore Gardens is 20 km from
Chandigarh, on the Chandigarh Shimla road . It is also
called Yadavindra Gardens. Pinjore lies on the foothills
of the lower Shivalik ranges. A mini zoo, plants nursery,
a Japanese garden, historic palaces, picnic lawns and
guest house offer tourists great options for leisure in
this small city around garden. |
